Summary: Works ok in osx. Must have their 3rd party utility running the entire time in order to connect to a wifi access point. If you remove the USB dongle sometimes it will cause the Mac to panic. Doesn't get better than G speeds on N router that my other machines will hit 300mbps over N with. If you touch the plastic cap your signal basically drops. I was airplay streaming audio from this to my appletv and I could effectively mute the sound the moment I touched the dongle.
Summary: I bought this for a notebook that's running Linux Mint 17 (Ubuntu 13.10). It did not even recognise it. I plugged in my old ,and much larger D-Link BT adapter and it worked just fine so I know that it's not my machine. Since it was so cheap it's really not worth the effort to return it. Double check compatibility before you buy it.
Summary: I was hoping to us this with my Synology NAS to create a wireless network. I later found out that this could only be used to join a network for some reason.I had to purchase a different unitfor this purpose. I like the small size and kept it to use with a laptop.
Summary: This USB Wireless N adapter works as advertised. The driver that comes with it installs easily. It does not, however, work well with Ubuntu 14.04. With Ubuntu, it sometimes delivers 150Mbps, sometimes 72Mbps, sometimes 7.2Mbps and sometimes nothing at all. Until there is a solid driver for the realtek 8188cu chip, which is what the DWA-121 uses, I only recommend this adapter for Windows.
Summary: I bought this to use on my beaglebone black. The wifi connection is not stable at all. I used an external power supply for the board but it's still not stable, the connection last just a few minutes and drops. Gave up on that for now, I'll invest more time trying to fix it later. I read some comments about having to use it behind a USB hub with external power supply, I still have to try it.
Summary: Purchased this adapter when the onboard ethernet port failed on my desktop PC. It was easy to setup and works, but is slow. I have 50/25 Mbps service and have not tested above 30/15 Mbps using this wireless adapter; a far cry from the claimed 150 Mbps on the specs. It's not an issue of range or interference as my computer with wireless adapter is in the same room, only 6 feet from the router.
