Summary: I have been using a Linksys router until it went bad. After purchasing the D-Link DIR-615-CS 300 Mbps I can tell the difference. Much faster. The software is very easy to understand and installation was super quick. And the wireless router operates a a much greater distance, too.
Summary: This router works well with OpenVPN DD-WRT firmware. I bought this router in January 2012 to replace a Buffalo Technology Air Station Wireless Router WZR-HP-AG300H that is pre-confirgured to use DD-WRT.
Summary: Works Perfect. Completely compatible with dd-wrt as well which is a huge deal for me (i needed a wireless repeater) I have had this thing set up ever since i bought it refurbished from micro center. Have had it mounted on the side of my desk hardwired into my desktop.
Pros: Great performance, price, range, power consumption, you name it.
Cons: Just wish it had Usb connectivity and gigabit but for the price you pay for this thing you can look past that.
Summary: If you are a techy, this review won't be very useful to you. To everyone else, I highly recommend this router. We've had it for a couple of months and it is great. On my previous Belkin router, I was having trouble maintaining the connection to my company's VPN.
