The only disadvantage I have found so far is that the connectors on the rear side are located too close and sometimes it might be difficult to connect a bunch of cables, but once you manage to do it, it is OK. Read more

For only £50 D-Link's DIR-615 router looks particularly good value as it offers an above average set of features. Wireless N performance is as always well below the quoted speeds and you only get Fast Ethernet ports at this price but D-Link's web access controls are a cut above the rest. Read more

I first bought the Linksys Wireless G router which had decent coverage but data transfer was slow. It took 40 seconds to load a web page. I then bought this D-Link N router and the pages loaded almost instantly. However, I tried to play an online morpg and the lag at times was pretty bad. I realized that the network card that came with the computer was only 54g so I disabled it and bought the D-Link N usb adaptor and thus no more lag. Connectivity is great. Read more

    • Easy installation, fast.
    • Needed to upgrade network card as well.

Have owned for about 1.5 years. With original firmware, had to reboot several times a week as there was no internet connectivity. Latest firmware fixed that. I have some devices able to use 5ghz N and some not. Having simultaneous dual band is very nice. Range is not as good as my old Netgear G router, but this may be the nature of N - I don't know. At a $60 price point, it is a reasonable buy. Read more

Approximately a year and a half ago home networking was not such a big deal, or at least affordable, this did not include smart TV's with internet TV, NAS, more than one game console, etc. I've come to believe that this router was designed for a very small network. I can't dare download software and stream content at the same time using this router (it will restart on its own -proved it-). QOs was a little better after the firmware upgrade, but it still fails. • Good Price (back then) for a wireless N Router. When it delivers it delivers.
    • Constant restarts (2 to 3 times a week) and connectivity drops (at least once daily).

I purchased this router to replace Berkin 150 because I was having trouble working on my laptop while my wife was streaming movies on our TV. Both were slow. With the new router D-Link N 300 you can only do one thing. If I'm on the laptop my wife can't connect to stream movies. I need to return this item. It was also hard to hook up. Read more
