Great product, for a great price

Garett J. Doyle "Living the dream in Colorado", Amazon
12 September 2014
  • Summary: Up and running in less than 10 minutes without reading any manuals. First, I am replacing my Linksys BEFSR41 in order to go wireless. I have had nothing but a great experience with my Linksys. I had a hard time deciding between the D-Link product and the Linksys product.

Be aware of its wireless link quality

joshzhao, Amazon
12 September 2014
  • Summary: I've revised my rating down to 3 stars after experiencing problem with its wireless link that started to surface less than a month in use. My laptop kept showing that the signal strength to the D-link wireless gateway fluctuates between good and poor, and drops network connection from time to time.

x79red, Amazon
9 January 2007
  • Summary: When it worked it worked well but after only a few months it had to be sent back to be replaced. The new one lasted for about 2 years untill the wireless side died. I was still able to use it hard wired up until I replaced it this past year with a newer model.

Found defective Wi-Fi too late

Amazon
1 February 2003
  • Summary: The wired portion worked fine. Tried to use the Wi-Fi about a year later, and it appeared to be DOA. I have a Linsys USB adaptor, a D-link USB adaptor, and a build-in one in my laptop. The OS ran the gambit of Win98SE, Win2000 and Win XP. None can detect the Wi-Fi signal.
