Summary: Up and running in less than 10 minutes without reading any manuals. First, I am replacing my Linksys BEFSR41 in order to go wireless. I have had nothing but a great experience with my Linksys. I had a hard time deciding between the D-Link product and the Linksys product.
Summary: I've revised my rating down to 3 stars after experiencing problem with its wireless link that started to surface less than a month in use. My laptop kept showing that the signal strength to the D-link wireless gateway fluctuates between good and poor, and drops network connection from time to time.
Summary: hey the router you sold me, in the description sais to be working but im trying to set it up and doesnt want to do anything.... also one of the antennas is broken and a yellow bulb that sais m1 doesnt stop lighting.... sorry for my english.. im dominican, dont speak english so much...
Summary: The wired portion worked fine. Tried to use the Wi-Fi about a year later, and it appeared to be DOA. I have a Linsys USB adaptor, a D-link USB adaptor, and a build-in one in my laptop. The OS ran the gambit of Win98SE, Win2000 and Win XP. None can detect the Wi-Fi signal.
Encryption never worked - Unit completely died in a few days

Summary: I have a Compaq Presario 1800 Laptop running Windows ME and a cable modem. My ISP is Charter Pipeline and provides the simplest means for connecting to the internet (I don't have to supply any kind of MAC address to my ISP, there is no need to supply a host name, and they assign you an IP address...
Summary: I bought this wireless router and Dlink wireless card for my laptop two days ago - it goes back today. First off, I have XP on pc and XP pro on laptop. I am tech savvy enough to connect a home network and resolve most issues on my own. With that said..
Summary: The D-Link DI-713P router is alot easier to install than you think it is. Coming as it does with only a quick install guide (which is not compatible with WinNt or 2000) and difficult to follow on-line support, figuring out the details is something that requires a little experience with wireless...
Summary: I had broadband access at a satellite office between my desk and the main office. We decided to use an instant messenger service on all PCs to allow our employees to get messages to one another without having to tie up the phones (and in our case, to avoid long distance, interstate calls).
Summary: I had problems with my first D-Link DI-713P wireless broadband router, because it wouldn't stay up for more than 20 minutes. I brought it back to the store and exchanged for another one. Everything is fine with the second one. It's been up and running ever since.
