Summary: When it works, it works great. Tends to have moments of confusion where it simply locks-up, requiring a screen refresh. The thing is nearing a decade old though, so technology has absolutely passed this router by.
Nice product but I will have to find an ethernet cord to really use it.

Summary: I opened up the package and it looks really nice. All the parts are there in nice little zip lock baggies. This device did not come with an Ethernet cord so I will have to find another one. I wanted this for work, but I have been too busy at home to go in.
Summary: I am not real sure how I feel about it just yet, I hooked everything up to my computer, and my internet would not work anymore. Also, I did not receive any instructions to ensure proper installation. The reason I decided to buy it, is because our main computer is used for work, and we also have some laptops we would like to be able to use anywhere in the house.
Summary: Like many other NewEgg reviewers', mine started rebooting randomly. D-Link sent me a refurbished unit, but unfortunately, I suspect it was a unit that someone else else returned, because this unit reboots randomly as well. Sounds like all the router vendors have reliability problems, so I'm just going to treat them as disposable...
Pros: When it works, it works great. D-Link's RMA process is very smooth and easy. All my other D-Link products have been great.
Cons: I had to do an RMA due to random reboots. The replacement unit also has problems. I'm not the only one.
Summary: Idk if its just me missing something, but i'll have a friend look at it this weekend and see if he can figure anything out...
Pros: Great when it works, has decent range, works just like you'd expect a router to work.
Cons: Right now, it doesn't matter what broadcast channel i put it on, but i get constant drops with my laptop. signal is 4/5 or 5/5 all the time but then all of a sudden it just drops. Works fine when it is plugged directly into the laptop, but wireless won't work.
Summary: I think if you turn off UpNP and/or the gaming mode from the router settings page you should be fine. Of course, this requires you to manually set the port forwarding settings if you use certain programs that would normally use UpNP (eg file sharing / online games).
Pros: good price... my wireless range is fine... there's a setting in the router to use "extended range mode" i have that turned on and wireless reception is much better than my old linkysys 54gtsdfsdf something router
