Summary: I owned two of these. I have never had so much frustration as with the unreliable nature of this product. The first one never worked quite right. Dropping connections, etc. I replaced it with another which completely died after about 6 months. Total garbage.
Pros: Easy to setup and full featured for a device in this class.
Summary: I hope I have better luck with the replacement.
Cons: All that happened when I got it was the lights came on and never went off. I called D-Link Support and after trying to reset it they said to return it. I wish I didn't have to pay to ship it back but I guess you can't blame Newegg for manufacturing defects.
Summary: I have a cable modem, the router was connected right at modem, then my vonage modem on router, I don't know how many times I was on phone and that router reset, you have to unplug the power for 2 minutes to work again.
Pros: When works it's wonderful
Cons: Connection keeps dropping for apparently no reason.
Summary: I wouldn't recommend this router to anyone. The signal constantly drops all LAN and WLAN connections for no apparent reason. The firmware has been upgraded to the latest version, and despite its user-friendliness, this is a very unreliable router. Stick with a Lxxxksys or Bxxxin..
Pros: Fast bandwidth and easy setup; clear display; easy to update firmware and nice range.
Cons: Constantly resets, losing all customized settings except security.
Summary: Hands down, the WORST computer product i have ever purchased -- even after having it replaced by d-link, it still does not work worth a darn. Never buying d-link networking product again.
Pros: Pro's? Uh, it looks pretty, and they have 24 hour customer support i guess.
Cons: EVERYTHING about this router has been an utter waste of time and money. The customer support people don't speak very good english, and have been COMPLETELY unable to help me solve any (let alone all) of the problems i have had with this router.
