Summary: I had to return this item after 3 days of customer support hell (Can you say "Bangalore"?). I had a pretty standard DSL setup with AT&T, using a Siemens DSL modem on my Mac OSX system, and no one at D-Link customer support could tell me what I needed to do to get the modem and router to communicate...
Summary: I purchased this router thinking that d-link is reliable. (chuckling) Well I was wrong. I have had problems since day one. To begin with it would take anywhere from 3 seconds to over 3 days for it to connect to the WAN port when it booted.
Summary: This is a cheap product. It only worked ONE day for me! When I have to reconfigure my network the second day, it just died. It took me more than half an hour to get a technical support guy on phone. We spent another 40 or 50 minutes in going through all the trouble shooting ideas he can thought of.
Summary: Aside from the earlier remarks about the cheap design and manufacture, there is a very annoying "bug" with this product: it will not *automatically* log in to your ISP via PPPoE. To log on to your ISP, you must log in to the web browser configuration screen and click the connect button.
Summary: When i received this item i thought , it is a bragain and also good robust router. First thing i come a cross was date was wrong and firmware was too old. when i look for a firmware upgrade found out that Dlink no longer support this router. I am a bit surprised why this item sold on Amazon !!
Summary: Ive just spent 1 hour trying to install this JUNK.I might of guessed it wouldn't be easy.I will try D-LINK support tomorrow. Then if that fails I'm going to take a blow torch to it.UTTER CRAP.And it was unsealed when it arrived.DONT BUY IT
Summary: I purchased this router to set up a broadband connection to my xbox, so that could use xbox live. But when I attempted to plug in all the cables I discovered that the router was not compatible with my BT adsl modem.
