Summary: This is a good alternative to wireless. I am concerned about security and wanted to physically attach all my devices. While this does work, it does not achieve the desired speeds as advertised. I think the only way this is possible is if all of your circuits are on the same run.
Summary: I purchased these two powerline adapters and have had no problems since, now my house has excellent internet speeds where ever an outlet is available. I have not had any issues crossing over phases, connections are stable.
Summary: I bought this adapter in the hopes of increasing internet bandwidth to my upstairs area. Expectations exceeded. Now I can easily do everything upstairs on the internet that I used to only do in the basement.
Summary: Really easy to setup, took less than 5 minutes. I've used this for over a year now without any problems. One is connected to my router and the other connected to my AV Receiver. Have no complaints, Highly recommended!
Summary: Poweline adapters are a great alternative to WiFi or if you live in a rental and can't run in wall Ethernet cables. I've used the PowerLine AV500 adapters for over a year with great success. The only issue I had was adding the Dlink 4 port PowerLine AV gigabit switch.
