wow its been 2 years already

Serge K., Newegg
25 November 2014
  • Summary: Some people won't be happy with its speed of transfering files between the network, but for my internet speed it is fine.
  • Pros: They are plug and play. Its been 2 years, and D-Link hasn't been that nice to me in the past so its good to see that these are still working after 2 years of non stop use.
  • Cons: none

Works perfectly!

BekaBug, Amazon
21 August 2014
  • Summary: I have been pleasantly surprised with this item. It worked with no configuration out of the box. The wireless signal in our bedroom wasn't very good so our Roku was struggling. I plugged these in and we were online wired and streaming HD in a few moments.

Seller is great. Product not so much.

  • Summary: The product works great for direct connection application but Dlink doesn't make it easy to distinguish which poweline model you need. In my case I need wireless in my room in my basement and the DHP-w310av is the correct model description. And this product (dhp-311av) is not supported in Canada.

Couldn't be any easier

Jsanto, Amazon
29 September 2013
  • Summary: I have an XBox that has always been a marginal distance from the wi-fi router at the front of the house. I have tried Wi-Fi extenders but always seem to have problems. I bought kit and plugged it in. I was up and running in minutes and now I have full signal strength all the time and no drop outs.

great for a gamer

Dimitri M., Newegg
19 September 2013
  • Pros: No installation required, unless you count plugging it into the wall outlet. It started right up. I get 30 Mbps instead of the 8 I was getting from our awful router that comes standard. No more wireless connection glitches killing my hardcore Diablo characters!
  • Cons: none

Powerline is where its at

Kenneth W., Newegg
27 August 2013
  • Summary: They work well over short distance because there was only a max of 25ft between. I think longer distance not so much but I was a doubter and now I am a believer
  • Pros: Right out of the box these things worked like a charm. My house was built in 2006 and I needed a bridge from computer room to living room. They work very well giving me excellent connection between two routers.
  • Cons: none so far

Second time!

Louis S., Newegg
22 August 2013
  • Summary: I've read where others have had some problems. I don't know why, unless it's just coincidence they have purchased a bad one. For me, I must have been lucky. I did notice someone states it won't work with a power strip.
  • Pros: This is my second order. I was surprised with how well they worked, that I'm buying another. Faster than my wifi.
  • Cons: In the past 10 years I've used Newegg, there is usually something I can say as a con, but with these, I can't think of one.
