Summary: This router says it's for gaming, yet every time I would try to play games online it would block the internet IPs trying to connect so I could play. I wasted my money on this router and suggest you don't waste yours too. I just went ahead and bought the Apple AirPort Extreme which has way better range converge throughout my house and keeps my DL/UL rates rather high. Don't waste money like I did. You get what you pay for!
Summary: We do not like this item because you can not use it on our internet system and it does not work on our Xbox game that we have and it will not allow us to hook up to our computers at all and t is waste of money to buy it I am sorry about that but it is very true You should of stated on your page that it works for some games etc.
Summary: All I can really say is even after a firmware update this thing never worked properly. Extremly happy with Amazon's return policy! Ordered a Linksys and waiting for it to arrive! My advice is to research this product for problems before you decide to buy it.
Loads of features, only runs for 3 days before needing a reboot

Summary: After my DGL-4100 gave up the ghost after 5 years, I needed a replacement. The DGL-4100 was a great router and ran consistently so I looked for one in the same line. Unfortunately the quality of the product I saw in the 4100 is lacking in this relatively current model. It has what looks to be the same software, so everything is familiar. It is also feature rich. However I noticed that every 3 days or so, I would lose connection to the internet.
Summary: I purchased this router to improve the range and response time of our internet signal. The router was relatively easy to set up. I use a MAC filter for security and noticed that the administrater application would properly provide support for it. After navigating through a very bad phone experience, I ended up talking with support people who were unable to speak even basic english further exacerbating the experience.
Summary: *I highly suggest not buying this router until firmware issues are fixed!* I bought this router as my previous D-Link was becoming unreliable. I read the reviews (this was before the firmware fiasco) and everyone was raving about how great this product was. So I decided to splurge and get the router. At first it worked great...reliable and fast. But after updating my firmware to 1.20, it has required reboots daily.
Summary: When this router worked, it was blazing fast. With any firmware beyond what it came with (1.02), it wouldn't save settings beyond a few changes. Also, it would lock up under heaving gaming load (hosting a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 PC coop server). It would also randomly reboot. The router LED seems cool at first, but then you long for standard router activity lights.
Great when it worked but died four months after 1 year warranty

Summary: I was reasonably happy with this router until it died suddenly, mid-raid last night (we play World of Warcraft). I was sorry to discover (a) it has only a one year warranty and (b) that warranty expired barely four months ago. D-Link would be more than happy to help me troubleshoot if I were willing to pay them - thanks, but no thanks.
Summary: I owned a D-link wired Gaming router that worked great, so after my roommate bought a few of the D-Link Xtreme N bridges, I thought I should get a proper wireless router and a couple of bridges to go with it to connect up all rooms in the house. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of updating to the latest firmware as soon as I brought the router online. Apparently, the latest firmware is completely broken. My router locks up every 3-5 days or so.
