Summary: This is a very good router for a single family home. It can handle multiple devices very well. There is a learning curve as far as really getting into the fine tuning of the settings which can be frustrating for a novice.

Excerpt: When we had problems with our internet provider's wireless router, we got the D-Link DGL-4500 Wireless N Extreme Gaming WIRELESS Router. Router Features What Comes In The Box?
Excerpt: I originally had a G Router and my Xbox 360 would cut in and out and was very frustrating. I eventually ran a 100ft Ethernet cable from the router to my Xbox so I would be able to play games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I eventually broke down and decided to buy into the so called "hype" of the N Router and got this Gaming Router. Pros: The range on this thing is outrageous! I get Full Bars and it has to go through 4 walls and at least 40 feet away.
Excerpt: I have owned this router for a year and it has been mostly stable. Strong points are that it's fast, easy to install and easy to configure. The configuration page (220.127.116.11) has a LOT of features, which are explained well and presented well. You never feel like there's something you want to do but can't. Particularly nice are the customizable port forwards for various applications, mainly for opening different ports for different online games.
