Summary: I've had a lot of great buys here on Amazon and this is easily one of my favorites. I was under the assumption that I would only be able to utilize one ethernet port at a time, like my HDMI switch. I was wonderfully mistaken.
Summary: I previously bought a simple ethernet splitter for about $2, thinking that I could just bufurcate the cable and connect it to two devices. Not so simple. After doing a bit of research, I found that an active switching device such as this was necessary.
This is a very robust AP for any business-class upgrade

Summary: D-Link makes several Airpremier AP devices. This one costs less because it runs on a slightly non-standard power device. The POE feature may be difficult to implement in some wiring closets because the device draws too much current.
Summary: Works flawlessly, just plug in a go. I have it behind our Verizon Fios router, and another older Dlink GB switch behind it. Transfers are blazing, and it plays very well with both GB and 100MB connections in the same switch.
