  • Summary: This is second bridge that I purchased after using same model for over 2 years. No all media equipment comes with wireless connection, especially 5GHz band. Works great, configure and forget it.

  • Summary: Purchased this item to use for the computers that need to be hard wired from wifi. So far this product works great and grabs my wifi to my outdated computers. I would recommend this product.

Do not buy this

Ladner Boy, Amazon
14 January 2015
  • Summary: At first it was working fine then it started to go offline once every few days. Later the up time kept getting shorter until it had to be rebooted every 10 to 15 minutes! The problem started just a few months after I bought it.

  • Summary: Will be returned or garbaged. Read reviews elsewhere. This came with v1.01 = latest version.

  • Cons: Simultaneous dual band is a lie in advertising. Band selection only. No wireless access to setup page most of the time. NTP time setting signals will not pass through this device. Another for the junk box.

Jason F., Newegg
22 March 2014
  • Pros: It has a small footprint.
  • Cons: Connectivity will last for about 10 minutes then fail. Power cycling will restore connectivity but failure will occur again and again each time with a shorter up-time duration. Unfortunately I bought it and let it sit in the box before finding this out so no refund for me.

good for devices that just need internet

mike gallagher, Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: a couple of things, the video on youtube on how to set this up says you just plug in and connect to, this is incorrect. The dap-1513 device doesn't have a DHCP server so it does not provide an IP, you must manually set your IP address on your ethernet adapter to (or any IP from 1-49,51-254) odd design that it's not simply the first IP or last IP of the subnet.
