Summary: I have installed three of these devices on three separate PCs. They were simple to install, just ensure you follow the instructions that come with your unit or you may be calling tech support. There are a couple of drawbacks to these units.
Summary: This item is working, I am to using it on my Dell Desk top PC with Windows 7 pro 64 Bit with Intel Core 2, 2.9GHZ with 4 GB RAM, I have a Dell Laptop with windows 7 Pro 64 Bit 4GB RAM , Intel 2.5GHz, 2 core. I put both nearby and tested.
Summary: I bought one, it came with a demolished USB extender and a defective adapter. However, after a short RMA I recieved one that was in new-like condition. Secondly, the software on thier site doesn't support win 8.1, so you'll have to install drivers manually through your device manager.
Pros: It works as it says it should.
Cons: Tricky to get working on 8.1, had to RMA the first one
Summary: Due to a family illness, I've had to temporarily move my office home, and there was no easy way to get an ethernet cable to the upstairs room where I needed to place my desktop system. So, I bought this item to tie in to my home Wi-Fi network. While it works, the reception has been disappointing.
Warning: non-plug and play for Win8 users - non-techies may need help

Summary: First, the good: It works fast. My home internet connection tops out at 15Mbps and this had no problem hitting that. I didn't test any home based streaming (the 802.11g router I have makes this pointless - it will always be too slow) It is also very stable - I haven't had any dropped connection in...
Summary: When I popped the install CD into my computer it claimed that my computer wasn't compatible. The box mentions that the device is only compatible with XP, Vista and Win7. This is not reflected on the product description that amazon provides.
