  • Summary: The previous review is lacking some valuable information. This ap is loaded with a lightweight firmware when shipped. You can download the standalone firmware and perform a recovery to load it on to switch the device from lw to standalone. Simple 5 minute proccess....
  • Pros: Device is flawless. Can be used as lightweight or standalone.
  • Cons: none

No HTTP - Must use CAPWAP

Joseph P., Newegg
7 March 2013
  • Summary: Probably a good device; I don't mind the introduction of the new CAPWAP provisioning as an option. I wish they had kept the older configuration options.
  • Pros: I never got a chance to find out
  • Cons: Must use CAPWAP to configure. You cannot use HTTP or the Console. HTTP isn't even present, and the console will not keep configuration; CAPWAP "sulking" reboots the AP and clears the data.
