  • Summary: No one ever got fired for buying Cisco. These are very well made. Work very well, but be prepared to pay for all of the pieces to make it work!

Good stuff!

  • Pros: I have used the skinny build version of these units before with a controller. These units are real nice and if you have some cisco knowledge, a snap to config.
  • Cons: Cisco products have always been expensive. But you get what you pay for.

Great Product

  • Summary: By Default the Radios are off, But the box I received was clearly marked. Distance is greater then I expected. I have two of these setup with 3 SSIDs each and never had to reset them in the 2 Months they have been in service. To setup multiple SSIDs, you MUST have a switch that supports VLANs and a router/firewall that can be setup with multiple VLANs.
  • Pros: Works Great, Multiple SSIDs, WPA2, and Wireless N. Easy to setup, if you are familiar with Cisco Access Points.
  • Cons: Does Not Include Power Supply or POE Adapter. Mounting bracket is meant for drop ceiling, but will work if mounted directly on the wall or ceiling, it is just a very tight fit. Web Interface is a little slow, but all there Access Points are that way.
