The connection is really good for this little thing
2 weeks ago
Summary: The connection is really good for this little thing. However, recently it has been overheating and disconnecting on its own. It's been bugging me a lot. Might have to buy a new one. Only have had it for a couple months too.
Summary: After trying a handful of different USB wifi adapters without much success I was about to give up and started to think it was a problem with the new computer I had just built. Then I ordered this one and it worked flawlessly, it receives a signal being sent from down the stairs and behind two doors at an average of 4/5 bars, the download speeds are right around where they should be for my setup. It does its job well, that's about all there is to it.
Summary: I've been using this adapter for about 7 months. It has always given me strong performance and no disconnects or inexplicable lag during games. A couple things to watch out for though: The light on the unit is bright blue, so if you have trouble sleeping with lights on, if this is on a computer in your bedroom, you will likely find it annoying. Secondly, the drivers on this must be installed from the CD unless you are connected to the internet already.
Pros: - Fast - Adjustable antenna
Cons: - Round Design can prevent adjacent USB slots from being available, if the USB slots are very close together. - Light is rather bright
Liked it so much when it died, I just bought another one

Summary: Everything you could ask for honestly. Super easy to use, never had any signal problems and I live on a floor above and across the house from the router. Though from personal experience, I would suggest you plug it into the back of your computer. I kneed mine every twenty minutes for eight months and not really to anyone's surprise, it gave up.
Pros: This device has provided excellent speed and reliable connectivity on my HTPC for about 6 months. I liked it so much that I bought another for a friends recent build. the device feels solid and well made.
Cons: The drivers can be a pain to install. I am using windows 7 and in both cases I had to search the disc for the proper driver instead of using the built in installer. It asks you to allow the installation and to check always allow. I end up in a loop. Once its installed though, no problems. Took away an egg for that.
Summary: Has good reception throughout the house, far better than our smart phones (sony xperia LT) to the router. Great speeds, too. I was pulling 3 mb/s on steam tops but keep in mind our internet is not great, though that's the fastest I've seen something download on any wireless device I've had so far.
