  • Summary: Yes, this does take a little knowhow and understanding to set up but what do you expect from a box that solves several problems. I am using as a wireless bridge and bringing connectivity to a BluRay player as well as a printer. Once I got it configured - BTW go manual since it is the best option - I hooked up my laptop wired in to check the speed and it is as good as a direct wired hook up or wireless in the house.

  • Excerpt: Took it out the box, hooked it up to my laptop put the settings I wanted and boom done. I use it as a bridge between two apartment complexes. I needed a 5ghz band bridge to avoid the microwaves on 2.4. It connects to another brand 5ghz bridge. Remember 5ghz needs a clear line of sight.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Reliable connection, Secure Connection

  • Excerpt: My original intention for purchasing this unit was to use it with my new Nikon D4 in order to operate the latter wirelessly in remote operation, i.e. ad-hoc network. The installing process is simple and straight forward. Furthermore that device can also be used as a bridge in order to repeat the wifi signal in your house let say from one floor to the next.

  • Summary: I got a dvd player / "netflix ready device" with only a wired ethernet port, but I needed to put it in the other end of the house from my router. Probelm solved by using the Ethernet Converter function. Hint: if your router has a wps function, that is all you need to configure it.
