  • Summary: I have and will always be a fan of the Buffalo routers. This little guy performs well and is quite reliable. You can not beat this router with anything else in its price range. In fact, there are many types of routers that are twice the price but quarter the value of this router. I recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable wireless router for a home network.

Weak signal strength

dmc2100, Ebay

  • Summary: This was purchased to be used as a repeater to extend the range of our network rather than as a router. The intent was to take advantage of its "n" technology. In the WDS mode, the range of this unit's signal was very disappointing, so much so that we took it down and put the eight year old Hawking Extender back in service. It was good at more limited ranges and would be fine for a small house or apartment.

  • Summary: I bought this as an access point to connect my non-wireless devices to my wireless network. Unfortunately, when the advertising says it has an access point mode, it is not entirely truthful. It can be used to connect your wireless devices to a wired network, but not the other way around. In addition, it only works well as a wireless bridge in connection with other Buffalo brand products that support their unique protocol.

This is a must have for any home that needs WiFi access.

  • Summary: This is a must have for any home for WiFI access. This item is a must have for any home. I purchased this item Buffalo Wireless Router for my Mother. She has a lap top on the main floor, and when we visit her we need Wi-Fi to connect with our Smart Phones and iPad (s) etc. She has mobility issues so we purchased another lap top for her bedroom.

Very happy with this purchase.

  • Summary: I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'm using this router to connect my desktop computer to my home wireless network, so am using it as a client off another wireless router. It is working flawlessly, and the setup with the built-in tools for this wasn't terribly difficult. Very happy I picked this up.

  • Summary: I bought this router to enable another access point with two older Buffalo g and n routers and found that the set up and configuration for this router was fairly easy. I will admit that my background is in IT with this application being one of my main skill sets but I would think that anyone with an understanding of wireless routers and access points could use this product.
