Didn't work at all
12 September 2014
Summary: First, the card was obviously a return--the tape on the electrostatic bag was broken. Generally not a good sign. Second, after I installed the drivers (from the Ralink site) Vista could not connect to the router at all. I then installed the Ralink setup utility and THEN I could connect to the router, but I could not get an IP address After a few refresh/renew cycles, my computer spontaneously and immediately powers down (!
Summary: I purchased the Belkin F5D9010 for use with a last-generation notebook. I keep my home network secure using WPA2. The Belkin software, while it has WPA2 as an option, could NOT connect to my network with WPA2 active (while my Wii and a desktop machine with a PCI 802.11g card have no problem at all). There is also a flaw in setting the key: a hexadecimal key can be entered, but the alphanumeric choice is greyed out.
Summary: This Belkin Router sure done a great job and I never thought it would but it did I love it and if anyone is looking for a good one this in my point of view works perfect for what I needed Thanks to all
Summary: I really like the performance of this router and the 4 ports are convenient for all my devises. The speed and reliability of this router impressed me for the 3 devises that I had connected without any interruption of service.
