Summary: Took longer than expected to arrive, but within the time frame published, so can't complain. Can't tell which version of hardware, but came with latest version of firmware available from Belkin.
Summary: I curerntlky use a Netgear N USB adapter in my Lenovo laptop. However, it sticks out too much and is very fragile so I went for this Belkin unit which would fit in the card slot. The result was reception of about on third the transmission rate of the Netgear unit.
Summary: This is a great card. If you are having trouble running it with Win7, then unistall software & re-install. Make sure you have the latest firmware update which is available from Belkin. This should fix any issues. I actually paid $12.00 for mine with free shipping.
Pros: Card works excellent. I am running it in a 5 year old dell laptop. I run all windows OS including Win7. I have downloaded at speeds up to 400kbs. This thing rocks.
Cons: It sticks out a little far & also gets a little hot. Not really problems though, especially if you have a laptop cooler. They're really cheap at NEWEGG, by the way!
Summary: I bought two of these, the title didn't say refurbished but inside the box the cd sleeve was already ripped apart and the white box with a sticker screamed refurbished. It's not worth the postage to return these cards so I guess I am stuck with them but buyer beware!
Cons: Too slow! It's about 10 times slower than my D-Link card. Even if the connection shows high mbps actual throughput is lower than a good G card. Doesn't play nice with Windows 7 if you install drivers from manufacturer instead of default windows ones.
