Summary: I set up a home office off our garage, and needed a wireless router that would penetrate several walls, including 2 concrete walls. The signal from our Linksys wireless G router was very low out there, and streaming radio was frequently locking up. I did some online research and decided on the N1 Vision. I loved the screen, with its ability to display who was using my internet service.
Summary: Got this along with 4 of the USB adapters, (already wrote their review (1 star)) This was not an easy transition from my 'G' network as I hoped, and most of it had to do with the USB adapters being bad. My Issue with this is that it will lock up about 1 to 2 times a week. From what I've read else where, it is due to heat, but I don't know that for sure. When it is running it is working as well as I could hope, but falling off the network a couple of times a week....
Summary: First, I am an IT professional of over 25 years. I can honestly say that this is the first bad Belkin Router I have come across. There are always bad 'apples' in a box, and you should not let that spoil the rest. But this router is just on the lowest end of the scale. AS A ROUTER (WIRED) I can give this product as a wired router 5 stars. Ease of use, setup, security, and speed. All top rate on the product I purchased. The problems come when you are 1...
Summary: It's a great looking product for sure, best in class. The router incorporates broad and unique security features. The best for me has been the guest access key which I give out to visitors then change frequently allowing me to keep my core security separate. Other great attributes include excellent distance and a decent UI. The bad: it drops its connection to my ISP at least once every twelve hours.
Sexy and cool, but has technical problems with VPNs

Summary: This router is sexy and cool, no doubt. The LCD makes a nice clock, and you can watch your upload and download speeds. :-) The fun stops when you deviate slightly from typical home use and try to connect to your office VPN (virtual private network). Though Belkin claims that this device supports VPNs, there is one fatal flaw that prevents it from working well. Non-geek speak: The router inserts itself into the process that converts names like "[...
Summary: I read many reviews and many said this product has problems and Belkin support sucks, yet I was doubting what they are saying because this router IS expensive, I thought how come Belkin would manufacture such expensive product and be that lousy....? But... If you dare to connect any wireless device to the router, it will operate for 10 minutes then the whole thing will go down and you need to restart it!
Summary: No good for a MAC. The Belkin N1 Vision router works really well and fast IF the SECURITY is DISABLED. Once security is turned on the download speed dropped 95% from 4800 kb to 156 kb. Upload speeds were 450 kb. I have called technical support several times have a reference number. They would not transfer me to level 2 and either hung up on me or put me back into the telephone call system which meant another 20 min wait. If you have a Mac don't get one!!!
Excerpt: I have just installed this router (which, I have to say, was a fairly painless task). However I am saddened to report that both the functionality and performance are very poor. Functionally it lacks many advanced features that allow users to tune the router for thier purposes (e.g. port triggering, comprehensive NAT controls) and some features just don't work properly (e.g. DMZ).
