Pros: Paid $5. Worked out of the box. I never think about it---it's never given me any trouble. More than fast enough for browsing and file access. I just bought two identical machines and connected one to my router with wire and the other with this adapter. The wired machine is used as a desktop/serve...
Summary: Some people do good with this adapter, but no such luck for me :(
Pros: I'm not really one to say that there aren't any pros so...it is in usb form.
Cons: I have had more problems with this than any other usb adapter I have used. Installed drivers and hooked up with NO problems. Five minutes later, connection dropped...this happened over and over until the wife router actually started dropping ALL devices. Never has this happened until I used this....
Summary: I originally bought a Rosewill wireless adapter, only to find it doesn't work with windows 8.1. So, I figured Id pick this one up. It worked fantastic until it didnt anymore. Not worth the shipping to RMA it.
Pros: When it worked, it worked great.
Cons: Stopped working in less than 3 months. I started using it Feb, 23rd of this year. Woke up this morning, turned on my computer...no connection at all. Not even the adapter shows up in the connection settings. Tried different USB ports...nothing. Plugged in flaky Rosewill adapter (that doesn't supp...
Summary: It took me 3 days to download left 4 dead 2...3 DAYS!!!!! don't buy this thing unless you're desperate for a painfully slow internet connection.
Pros: It connects to the internet.......eventually. I honestly can't sum up anything that can be considered positive. Its small and portable...thats all I got.
Cons: It is terrible for online gaming, web browsing, watching youtube, downloading music, or pretty much anything. It takes minutes for this thing to load websites which is absurd. It averaged about 30 kbps per second.....that is absolutely atrocious beyond perception.
