  • Excerpt: Bought this as "excess inventory" in the clearance section of store. Spoke with one of the easy techs about it before making the purchase. I currently use a Comcast router and in a brick house the signal doesn't seem to get to my children's room and they've complained about strength and loss of...

Great system

wildwood, Staples
12 June 2014
  • Excerpt: The Belkin Dual-Band Wireless Range Extender is a great system. Using the included CD, setup took less than 5 minutes from the time I put the CD in my laptop. I live in a large old farm house and wireless coverage from my router would only give me GOOD reception, 3 bars, at the far end of my house.

Belkin F9K1106 Dual-Band Wireless Range

D. Paul, Staples
10 May 2014
  • Excerpt: My house seemed to be too large for the signal to get from the router location to my computer/iPad. I was constantly getting the "No Signal" message. I went to Staples to get a new router, but was pleasantly surprised to find there was such a thing as an "extender" available.

  • Excerpt: spent time setting it up and moving both it and the router around the house. never saw any improvement in band width in the 2nd floor bedrrom which is 10 ft away from master where I'm getting great reception. not sure if this unit is a dud or if it's the product itself. but back it goes tomorrow.

Good option to extend wifi at home

Hugo, Target
28 March 2014
  • Summary: Bought this for my parent's place and set it up myself. It extends wifi pretty much as I expected, with a good range. It was easy to set it up with a couple of simple steps - and the instructions are straight forward.

Good signal, atrocious speeds. Cannot change 2.4ghz to 5ghz.

OMIGHTY1, Target
28 March 2014
  • Summary: I thought this network extender to both extend my wifi signal and give my room a more secure LAN among its various systems. however, the signal disconnects randomly from the modem which is putting out the signal, meaning I have to reset the extender.
