Summary: I had to switch to my desktop computer, which didnt have wireless internet. So I simply installed the disc, and it told me to plug in the USB adapter. And it worked right away! The only issue I have is that it does NOT load pages in a split second like I was used to on my laptop.
Cons: After 2 weeks it disconnects every 3 minutes then I have to wait 5 mins this probaly happens about 4 times a day. If not it will work for an hour then disconnect completely for an hour. I had to write this review on my phone because of this.cardthis. i would reccomend this to no one.
Summary: Save yourselves a hassle and DO NOT BUY. I hope belkin sees this review because i will never be buying from them again, way too much hassle
Pros: Worked fine at first. Wasnt lightning fast but it got the job done.
Cons: I dont know where to start. first of all the thing is pretty big, covers the USB slot it uses and the one next to it, not that big of a deal if this thing would have worked (see below) Second, i had this thing for about a month and everything seemed fine until one day out of nowhere i just starte...
Summary: Got this at another store because I didn't want to wait for shipping.
Cons: Way too slow for what you pay for... It's quite bulky as well and might cover usb slots in the back of your computer. It takes three hours to download something that takes 10 minutes to on the computer next to it. It might work for very basic usage however there are products that are half the pri...
Summary: Don't buy anything from Belkin in my opinion. Newegg was great to work with though. I contacted them about the return and they laid out the whole process for me.
Pros: -Small -Quick to install
Cons: -Slow -Download/upload speed was beyond terrible (lower than dial-up) - Belkin Customer Service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Takes forever to get through to a person, and when you do, they can barely speak English. The phone agents have no knowledge of computers and if your issue is not on ...
Summary: My husband was in the Army so I had to move a lot and never knew what the layout of housing was going to be so it was nice not having to lay ethernet everywhere. Ha ha, probably the most reliable thing I had in Army life.
Pros: It has a decent range. I've used the thing across a house and in a basement and I've always had amazing signal. I have a gaming computer with a lot of USB ports but that might be a con if you don't. Frankly, better than any wireless card I've ever had.
Cons: Occasionally I'll lose signal... but I'm not sure if that's the adapter or the modem cycling. Really easy to fix though; just unplug and replug. Give it a moment to boot up. When I say occasionally, maybe once or twice every few months - no big deal.
