  • Excerpt: Unlike the majority of 802.11ac routers out there, the Belkin AC1200 is a premium wireless router that supports a dual-stream setup rather than the triple-stream setup most of the routers at this level support. That explains why its max throughput is a little under 900 Mbps, as contrasted with the 1300 Mbps of the top routers in our premium wireless router reviews.
  • Pros: The Belkin AC1200 has customizable parental controls, great guest access capabilities and two USB ports, a 2.0 and 3.0.
  • Cons: The router maxes out with theoretical throughputs of less than 900 Mbps, which is well below average when compared to top 802.11ac routers.
