Summary: This has an incredible range on it, I was using 2 other generic USB Bluetooth adapters to play Farcry 4 on my PC with a PS4 controller, but if i put my knee in from of the controller, turned slightly or broke line of sight the signal would drop. With this adapter I stood across the room behind a couch and still played perfectly, the DS4windows app has a latency OSD and I was getting 1.6ms everywhere and while i was across the room behind an object with metal in it...
Summary: I couldn't plug this into the back of my computer due to the fact does not do well from a ground level with a heavy wood desk in the way. I had to use in a usb hub on my desk so there wasn't anything solid in between it and my bluetooth devices. Range is about what it says, barring nothing is really in between it and the device. If it's about a room away the distance is probably about half before the signal gets to weak . For the price though, does a good job.
Summary: It works great but kind of hard to setup here is what I did. 1. I installed the drivers then it would go so far on the setup and get hungup. 2. RESTARTED THE COMPUTER. 3. INSTALLED IT AGAIN. NOTE: I CAN'T NOT REMEMBER if it asked me to remove the drivers or not i think it did but if it ask you to remove them if not continue. 4. continue to install it and it should install. final notes: if it does not ask you to uninstall the drivers don't do it.
Summary: Let me get this straight -- the Bluetooth adapter uses a CSR Harmony chip, but includes a *demo* version of the Toshiba drivers? I have to PAY EXTRA for drivers? Please, let's refuse this bad idea before it becomes common practice. A cheaper BT 4.0 adapter *came with* working CSR Harmony drivers. This one does not have a Harmony license, so it can't use the Windows-default drivers at all. It simply doesn't show up.
Summary: I have two of these now, which are the longer range Bluetooth adapters. I use them to communicate between my two desktops and my photovoltaic system inverter located in my garage (about 30 feet and two walls, and two cars, away). Except for occasional atmospheric conditions, they work as advertised. If one computer has trouble communicating, the other computer can do it.
Summary: Nice item, very easy to connect it to my PC with Windows 7, the mini CD direct you to all steps and when it does the job searches for any devise compatible with this item. It was able to pair with the mini speaker Rovebeats T3 however the range is too close to 10 feet. I do not know if is the adapter, what suppose to be to 100 meter open field or the speaker but to 20 feet the sound star to fade.
Works with SCP DS3 tool. Read if having issues with install.

Summary: Used on Windows 7 64 bit for DS3 controller. I can verify that it does work with the SCP DS3 wrapper. If you try it and run into a problem installing the app (doesn't install the service), try this... - meet pre-requisite (install xbox controller driver, Bluetooth driver, plug in ds3 with USB and allow Windows to perform a driver install, install Microsoft. Net, install visual c runtime) - Right click the zip folder and click properties.
Summary: Purchased in order to use 2 Nintendo Wii Motion Plus controllers on my PC. This Bluetooth adapter utilizes the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, and therefore is one of the few adapters that can natively, properly communicate with WiiMotes with the "RVL-CNT-01-TR" designation.
Summary: I had to first install the latest DS3 Tool, goto the device manager and install both the PS3 controller and the bt adapter, then goto the bt section and pair it. Then open up Better DS3 and set your controller over there and hit apply.
