Summary: I have two of these. Both are set as wireless bridges. These are easily hack-able to use DD-WRT or Tomato firmware. I love these routers. Even though they are just G routers they are worth the money.
Summary: Originally purchased to use as print server. Never could successfully set that up so had put router in closet to work on another day. Then our existing router failed so pulled this one back out to use a replacement. Had home network back up quick and everyone happy. Using for little over a year now with no issues.
Summary: I had no trouble installing it. It works great. And it has not given me a problem since I bought it. I have never even had to reset it in over a year. It surprised me how good it was for the cost. It was my first time buying an ASUS networking product, but it will not be my last.
Summary: I bought this and found it pretty complicated at first. But as soon as I got used to the user interface I found it to be a great product. I really like all the functionality that comes with this router. If you're looking for a router that can do it all, gateway, access point, or just a plain old router, this is it.
Summary: I purchased this so I could support wireless printing. Later I found out, it wouldn't work with my printer. Make sure and check out the list before purchasing. I received a $10 Amex gift card for purchasing....but couldn't imagine the hoops they make you go thru to get it. I think they look for a certain amount of slippage. Overall, it is a good piece of equipment for the money.
Summary: I would have given it a 5 if it had all the functionality I wanted. I wanted to use this as a wireless print server in the following way: attach my old, non-wireless printer to this ASUS router. Have this ASUS router talk with my gateway router wirelessly. Have all my laptops which get Internet through the gateway router be able to print wirelessly through the ASUS router. Well, this is not possible with this ASUS router.
