Great For Places that are Hard to Reach or Have a lot of Interference

Summary: I purchased this for use with a Macbook Pro Retina in Clamshell mode connected to external monitors. I connected this to my macbook through a USB 3.0 hub and additionally used a USB Y-cable ( StarTech.com USB2HABMY3 3 Feet USB Y Cable for External Hard Drive - USB A to mini B ) so I could use Hi-Power mode in all of its glory. I am currently living in an apartment complex that has many, many networks (a quick scan can come up with 25-30+ networks some days).
Summary: Very good wireless adapter for windows, don't use it with linux. Easy to install and easy to use, but linux has trouble recognizing and installing the drivers, but if you are only using windows or mac, you will be fine, best adapter on the market.
Summary: ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-N900 USB Network Adapter (USB-N66) I used to see that TV ad that said, "If it is not a Toyota, then it is not a car". A little bit exaggerating but the same is true of ASUS products. I bought this ASUS Dual-band Wireless-N900 USB Network Adapter for my son's Apple MAC computer because his room is about 100 feet away from the router, and after downloading the driver for MAC OS from ASUS web site, installed and rebooted the machine, and this...
Best choice in dual band 450 Mbps adapter, and a few tips for optimum results
4 August 2013
Summary: Have used a number of N adapters. Moved to dual band 450 Mbps router last year, the ASUS RT-N66U Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router , with great results (see my review of this router if interested). However, I was missing the other half of the equation for state of the art Wireless N speeds, a matching wireless adapter.
Summary: Worth the money. Boosted my in and out signal to full strength. No more lag or choppy video games. Only thing that might be a drawback for some is that it may give the computer it is connected to what seems to be wireless priority. For example I have 2 computers running, the one with this ASUS attached gets fantastic internet, whereas the other seems to be somewhat less connected when I'm playing video games. Just something to consider for multiple people using the wifi.
Summary: This item works as described with no problems. It is very easy to configure/connect and requires no further effort once set up. I got this to replace an equivalent Netgear model that was a NIGHTMARE!
Summary: This product performs the function of an adapter beautifully. It allowed me to download to my computer at around 6 MB a second, and I have poor wifi. It's ability to connect to various types of signals is very convienant, and I can't wait to try it with an A/C signal. It also picks up networks at great range. I could pick up almost 10 different networks from around my neighborhood.
I read other customer responses and was not sure what to expect

Summary: I looked around for other adapters before I purchased this. I have an Asus Computer which I love another reason for purchasing this adapter. I read other customer responses and was not sure what to expect with installation but I am familiar with Wi-Fi after experiencing problems with my old adapter which was a Netgear N600. I opened the box and it was real easy to install. Since I had experience with Wi-Fi the installation of the software was real easy.
