  • Summary: Had a few problems getting hooked up on my Mac Pro but once I got the right drivers and found out navigation on my new system I got it up and running and works fine. This saved me from putting an Airport card in my computer at over half the price.

Provides a good alternative to connect to the net.

  • Summary: Installed this hardware on a older TOSHIBA laptop computer, and connected as expected. A 150N or 300N thumb modem connection may be a option that should be considered, a little more costly, but you don't have to depend on a installed modem.

Works Great

  • Summary: It may just be the laptops problem and not this device. My connection disconnected once but restarted and it came right back. There is a nice setup wizard that keeps coming up when I start the computer, and wish I could keep that from happening but all in all a great device.

  • Pros: Faster then what I need, connect rapidly, small and works on Ubuntu
  • Cons: May be smaller can surely easily broke if you hit it by inadvertence
