Summary: I've using this for about 3 days now. 1st day of use i was getting around 60mbps for download/upload speeds. 2nd day, same deal 3rd day, it went downhill, now it randomly drops connection or gets ridiculously slow speeds. Speed is in the decimals now.
Summary: I bought this to put in my daughters late model desktop computer which is upstairs in our house. The router, a Cisco Linksys E2500 is downstairs and about 35 feet away. This Adapter pulled in the signal but download and upload times were unacceptably slow.
Summary: I purchased this with the understanding that it works well with a modern Linux-based system (Linux Mint 14-15, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and 12.10) . While the hardware is recognized via module driver, it hardly works reliably with a max connection time of about 30 seconds.
Summary: I bought this product about 4 months ago and up until this product is has worked well for my gaming PC. Recently however, it will randomly disconnect every now and then, which can be frustrating when I'm playing a game, causing me to get kicked out.
Summary: I'm having the same problems as some other people. I use AMD as well. My internet connection drops when I resume from sleep, and I have no way of reliably restarting anything to get it working again.
Pros: Good signal.. when it works. (see rest of review), Inexpensive
Cons: may drop your connection on computer resume.
Summary: I bought a new n wireless router and this adapter to use with it. To be honest I can't tell if it is the router or the adapter, but it constantly drops the connection. If it never sees the signal I'd be inclined toward blaming the router, but since it sees the signal and connects to it I'd have to...
Summary: Bottom line: I bought this with the intention of connecting to my campus' WPA-Enterprise network through my Mac OS X (10.6.6 Snow Leopard) system. All of the literature (even the manual from Asus website) states that this unit connects to WPA/WPA2-Enterprise access points.
Summary: After trying this for a few days with both my new Belkin 802.11n router as well as my prior Actiontec 802.11g router, I simply cannot recommend this device. Despite being properly installed (by the way, my Windows 7 64-bit system did not recognize it automatically, forcing me to download the newest...
Summary: Adapter didn't work with the drivers initially installed and new drivers were required, after this the adapter worked fine for about a month. After a month it just slowly died over the course of a few days, at first it dropped out a few times, then local network discovery just stopped working.
