Summary: I purchased this as a simple addition to a desktop without built in WiFi. It works as advertised, an inexpensive, simple addition to a LAN only system. It functions just fine with my AirPort Extreme. It works on both PC and Mac with respective drivers. Setup is easy, I was up and running in no time.
Summary: ...but I'm still stuck in the process of making it work. One of my friends has it for the same application and works great for him. I don't know what my problem would be. I still love the tiny size as I can leave it plugged to my Pi all the time, and the price was super convenient.
Summary: I don't really like to review electronics unless I've bought a bunch of the same item, because it's not fair to take a small sample and make a sweeping statement (1 star review because the only one you ever got didn't work, or 5 star review because it did) about the product.
Summary: I bought this dongle to use with WDTV live and no problem with it. It's small to attach to aside of the WDTV and I have no cons to review. If I found a problem in the next month I'll re write a review I recommend ti!
Summary: Bought this to use with my Western Digital Live TV media hub. Did not include wireless so I bought this dongle, when it did not work with my old usb wireless g dongle from like ten years ago. So far so good, tranfers are a tad slow though.
Summary: Purchased this adapter to replace a broken built in wireless G adapter on an Acer Aspire 5601 with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Only drawback is it is not plug and play. You will need to install the necessary asus software from the disk that ships with it.
