Must have to keep your tech modern.

  • Summary: Super speeds and has solo stand and thin laptop screen clip (note: thin- a thick, non Apple laptop may not fit it.) Be sure to disable your existing Wifi. Even though I have less signal power with 5ghz, the speed is faster. This is the fastest I have ever recorded on my laptop. I think it is close to wired speeds and at 5ghz, streams are much more stabler than at 2.4. One of the best computer buys/improvement ever.

  • Excerpt: Easy setup and great range - I expect nothing less from ASUS. Paired with an Asus RT-AC68U 802.11ac router it works flawlessly - the signal gets thru two 8 inch concrete walls and separated by a concrete floor.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection, Secure Connection

Buggy at best

  • Summary: Will not connect on one computer at 5GHz with 2 different routers that support 5Ghz, The 2nd computer I tried it on drivers freeze on startup after initial installation. No separate driver support that I found. Drivers are bundled with the software. Very disappointing for the price with little support. Asus at one time was a trusted brand but I would stay away from this adapter. Very pleased with the Netgear nighthawk router and the netgear WiFi 811.ac adapters.

  • Summary: Did all the research and they were correct. This adapter is working pretty fast. It is faster than my note book wifi card by far. Setup was easy enough.

Great device.

  • Summary: It works like a charm. It even when we have issues from outside interference messing with the main router comes right back up when it detects internet signal again. It both of them since I have two one for my desk top pc and the other for my lap top gets me speeds above what I pay the cable company for and we're talking wireless. That's also due to our ASUS wifi bride and the main wifi router.

it works well

Jerrold D., Amazon

  • Summary: I have had this for about 3 weeks and having some problems. I am not blaming the adapter,it just could be me. It took a few trys to get it to work and keeps dropping the internet. When I reboot I have to unplug it and restart it. Like I said it could be. If I could get it to work all the time it would be great. Still need to work on it.
