Summary: I bought this for the 2 usb ports for my printer and external hard drive. It also has ftp server to access the usb drive. The functionality is cool. Using ftp I can remotely access drive from pc or mac. Setup was a little complicated. Price is a little high. It got my attention because people were raving about connection speed and range. I am not finding the range to be much different from my 12 year old Linksys.
Summary: I replaced a Cisco (Linksys) wifi router with this due to speed problems and signal repeatedly dropping out on the A band. Well, signal still repeatedly drops out on the A band. On 7 different computers. And 3 Alfa USB wifi adapters. Still getting lower speeds matching the old router.... I think I spent my money for nothing. This router does have a few nice features in the interface though, and seems easy enough to manage. Doc's are pretty good.
Summary: Just bought this to upgrade my wireless network to full N support, replaced my old linksys wrt300n which is now used as a wireless bridge with the rt n66u. which by the way gave me no issues at all to do.
