Summary: If you want the power and flexibility of DD-WRT and don't need 5GHz support, USB, or heavy P2P throughput, this is the only router worth considering. They are available very cheaply and offer bullet-proof reliability. This is also the device I grab when I need a simple ethernet/wireless client (such as for a game console or streaming device) or stand-alone access point.
Gglad I bought it and it lives up to its reputation

Summary: The router installed easily and has been a real performance increasing item. I installed it in place of a DSL wireless modem which was always dropping the WIFI connection. Now the connection stays up and it is much more convenient to use the WIFI upstairs and the desk model with the modem down stairs. This is a solid unit, small dimensionally but large in capability. I bought this one due to price but the ASUS brand is what I wanted to get into.
Summary: This is my favorite router. I love how easy the firmware is, and how simple it is to use as a repeater. In fact this is my second one, because when we use one as a router and the other as a repeater. I could not be happier.
