Great little card

J. Villa, Amazon
23 September 2014
  • Summary: Easy to install. No problems during installation or after it. I was a little bit concern about this card fitting into my slimline since adding hardware to it is very limited but this card did great with the low profile bracked included. It also includes a cd software and gives you the option to install either the ASUS Utility or the Windows driver only. I choose the windows driver option and it is working nice and smooth. I am very happy with this purchase.

Seems like good card, no problems so far

Mike's clone - Mike, B&H Photo
31 August 2014
  • Excerpt: Installed easily on my Windows 7 32-bit pc, just put in the cd (I chose Windows installation only, not the asus wizard interface). Getting a good 4-bar signal so far, speed is just ever so slightly under my wired ethernet speed so can't complain.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection

  • Summary: Just installed this wireless card in my desktop. It works well on my Windows 7 partition. On my Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) partition, the wireless card works, but it appears to have some sort of artificial bandwidth limit that is on the order of 0.5 Mbps. I suspect that this is an Ubuntu problem, rather than the card, but it is something to consider if you are purchasing this for a Linux machine.

el cheapo... very flakey

williamdemeo, Amazon
24 August 2014
  • Summary: Connects whenever I first boot my (linux) computer, but then it simply stops connecting to my networks. To test that it wasn't simply a matter of poor signal strength, or a problem with the computer, I plugged a usb wifi adapter into the same computer and it connected fine to both wifi networks in my house. The Asus PCE-N15 seems to be configured properly and can see both of my networks, but fails to maintain a connection with either one.

2 August 2014
  • Summary: -not 3 stars, but ncix rarely accpet 2 stars & 1 This was working fine for a couple of months, but since a few weeks ago it started acting up. The download speed is so slow on this unit that reached 0.5mbps, and I'm paying for a connection of 25mbps. All my other devices have no problem with connection speed, only this device with this card installed. Only download speed is slow, my upload is normal and ping is fine..just the download is slow.
  • Pros: -Strong signal
  • Cons: -Slow connection speed, -Sometimes disconnect
