Summary: this device has peformed flawlessly, i have this paired with an ASUS RT-AC66U and they work great together. I have since had an issue with my router failing but thats irrelevant to this review. the software and network manager are nice and easy to use, even in Windows 8. would recommend this card to anyone!
Pros: outstanding performance, nice big heatsink on the chipset
Summary: Bought in store at Langley NCIX. This is the fastest wireless network adapter I've ever owned. Useful software included with this device. All other manufacturers should look how this is built because it looks and works great. It's paired temporarily with a Netgear WNDR4000, but just until I pick up the Asus RT-AC66U.
Pros: Build quality is exceptional.
Cons: Hard locked my computer 6 times before getting it to work. Switched PCI-e slots and then it worked flawlessly. Almost certainly PEBKAC.
Summary: This Asus wireless adapter for install into a pcie slot is incomparable to any other adapter out there on the market. The device exudes quality from the massive heat sink to the external antenna's. Performance is clearly outstanding between you router and install point. My desktop is about 75 feet from the router and I still get full signal. Wireless test shows a throughput between the router and adapter at 75 feet at around 800 mb/s; that is fast. Highly recommended.
Pros: Quality is number one! Performance is Number one!
Summary: The card works fine but since updating Windows 7, the initial connection (after powering it up or restarting) it takes about 30 seconds wait for it to connect. Price was expensive for what it is too.
Summary: Does not work correctly out of the box! It causes the PC to crash (P8Z77-Deluxe - ASUS!), it crashes the router (Linksys EA6700) and it crashes itself! It cannot find the network, despite 2 other PC's Two smart TVs, a laptop and a Galaxy S3 that are all able to connect without a problem.
