  • Summary: It's a router, it's a speaker medium, it's a print server. The beast is here. Apple introduces the Airport Express and the audience finds it revolutionary. I use this for its Airplay Function.

Amazing little box!

gregh, Amazon
7 July 2013
  • Summary: Who knew such a little box could add so much functionality? I purchased this Express hoping to extend my wireless range to the far corners of my house. I didn't even realize what it could do when I first bought it - when I learned, I went and bought another one. (and then a third!

  • Summary: I own four of these and use them to extend my Airport Extreme network. They are very easy to configure, and if you really know what you are doing, flexible. This one is located about 60 feet from the base unit and is on a different floor of my home and still reflects a good signal.

Wireless Extender for our Airport Extreme

Mike T, Amazon
6 February 2013
  • Summary: Note: I'm not a Mac user, I just own a Airport Extreme Router and found myself in a position where half of my home had no coverage. The Airport express is completely wireless (except for it's power requirement), small/compact (so easily hidden behind a couch), and dead easy to configure.

Well worth it.

  • Summary: It's a bit of a job to set up the unit as a range expander, especially with new OS i.e. Mountain Lion. The nice thing is portability. I use this on the first floor to help boost the router in the basement to the bedrooms on the second floor.

  • Summary: I know loving Apple is the totally cool, hipster thing to do, but I have to admit that I love them anyway. I've had this router for years, and it just works. Plug it into the wall, plug the internet in, set up your name and password, and you're good to go.

6 March 2012
  • Summary: as with all things apple you just need to follow the easy instructions. In this case you simply plug in the unit and then on one of your computers that is wireless you just open up Utilities and airport and install. Let your machine do the work and you are done.
