Only lasted a year. Piece of garbage.

Summary: Lasted a year and then the bottom compartment started to constantly beep, the temp display would go on and off and the light inside would blink. This is the second time I've had problems with this product. My advice to any potential buyers is to avoid it unless you want to spend $300 every year.
Summary: We bought this in July of 2011 and loved it, more so just for having a wine refrigerator...BUT now, 1 1/2 year later it’s broken! It broke a few months ago and I finally called Wine Enthusiast and they said that their manufacture’s warranty is only a year! He told me what was wrong w/it which is basically a chip and electrical issue and told me that unless I knew someone w/electrical experience it would cost more money to have it serviced and it would be more beneficial...
Summary: The wine fridge arrived with the upper door broken. I called the manufacturer to buy the upper door AND they do not have it as a spare parts. ALSO, when it is purchased in Canada, the warranty is VOID as soon as it leaves the US! I've had better customer service for something paid $50 than this piece of ... Also, it arrived dented on the side! Extremely disappointed and it is like burning $400 for nothing. Far from being impressed!
Summary: Has not maintained a good temperature since it arrived! The upper area for white wine is reading 83* and the lower for reds is at 53*. Followed instructions to adjust without success. Called the manufacturer without satisfaction. Still trying to get it resolved.
Summary: I should have paid attention to the other reviewers who said their unit stopped working soon after delivery. My first one never worked properly. The bottom portion cooled appropriately, but the top could never get down below 50. I even moved the unit to the middle of a dark room just to see if air circulation or sunlight was a problem. So I returned it and got another. This one worked until I put some wine (already chilled) in it.
Summary: I had very high hopes for this unit. The average reviews on Amazon with some that were highly negative were troubling, but I decided to give it a shot regardless. A good friend in Orlando also purchased this unit around the same time. After 1 day of operation, the temperatures in both the upper and lower compartments began to fluctuate by one degree, about every five seconds. This resulted in a gentle hum as the fan turned on to go from, let's say, 58 degrees to 57.
Summary: I bought the unit in August 2012, and it worked nicely for 6 months. Then it started doing the same thing that multiple other reviewers indicated - the bottom compartment started beeping incessantly and the temperature starting being erratic. Finally had to just unplug it, b/c it was so annoying. Trying to contact Wine Enthusiast now, but not super hopeful that they will replace it. Definitely don't buy from them without a warranty, but maybe don't buy at all...
Summary: This unit worked fine for two weeks but then the bottom temperature cooled to 45 degrees even though I have it set for 70. Have unplugged and tried to reset but does not work and stays at 45. This is going back! Now that I think about it probably does not make sense to buy a wine refrigerator from anyone other than someone who specializes in it or at least makes similar electronics.
Summary: We purchased the wine fridge last June and exactly 1 year from the date, the top section no longer works. I called the Wine Enthusiast and they refused to deal with the problem over the phone. Wine Enthusiast claim they will only do customer service support through emails. It is now 3 months and I have not heard a thing from the company. Buy from another reputible dealer!
Summary: Our first unit failed after a power failure---the electronics fizzled out --- and now we are on our second. This unit worked well for 2 months but now it is making a loud compressor noise. Unfortunately the Amazon return window expired a month ago. EDIT -- We contacted the manufacturer and arranged for a replacement. Unit #3 worked well for a year but then developed a loud buzz.
