Summary: Empty it would chill down to 34 deg's, but with a whole half keg it would only chill down to 40 deg's. I made the adjustment as described in the review above and now it is cooling down just fine. Also had to release all the pressure in the keg and set gas pressure at 5 psi to get rid of all the foam.
Summary: I've had a Kenmore kegerator for 15 years now. We loved it. Well I had to give that up in a divorce - Yeh I know, it hurt letting that go. So after doing lots of research on kegerators, seems the topics are Coldness, Space and design. Well this kegerator has it all and for the best price. This Kegerator holds a full coors light beveled keg, no problems. Beveragefactory.com is a real good site for displaying what types of kegs will fit.
Summary: I bought mine back in 2004 and it is still going strong. The only issue I had was when I (stupidly) tried to chip some ice off the back and popped a hole in the evaporator coil. I had it replaced and the refrigerant recharged and it is still running strong. I preferred this kegerator because the CO2 cylinder is stored inside the kegerator and out of sight.
Summary: This product works very well and my boyfriend and I haven't had any problems with it. The one downfall is that the company did not send us the tap handle. However, it is still functional and works great.
Summary: I got this for my husband for our anniversary. We love it! We are on our third keg and it works great. It keeps the beer nice and cold. At first we had an issue because a washer was missing. But, we were able to get a replacement washer at a beer store and it has worked great ever since. I would highly recommend this item. We received it weeks before the expected ship date. All around we are happy with this purchase.
Summary: So I bought this product online through walmart.com. I was very satisfied with the delivery to the site to store specified location. It did arrive in a timely manner. Receiving it at the store was very easy and expedited... The problems came when hooking it up. The components that came with it were very cheap and did not operate appropriately. Co2 tank connection to the regulator is fine with no leaks. However the gauge only indicates how much pressure your pushing out.
Summary: So far, so good. I'm on my second keg and love it. A lot of learning since I bought and started setting it up. I found CO2 at welding supply stores and bought a second tank. I don't know how long a tank lasts yet. 10 PSI works well, beer temp stays at 35-37 degrees. Different types of beer kegs require a different type of tap. The american sankey provided works with most domestic beers and some specialty beers. I've ordered 2 additional types.
Summary: This works great! The only issue that I have had was the thermostat didn't get the refrigerator down past 40 degrees. After doing some reading up online, I found that this is common, and what you need to do is take the thermostat off the back of the unit, open it up, and find the little screw on top of the unit. Clockwise twist will cause the thermostat to allow it to get cooler. I currently have mine set at a frosty 36 degrees..
