Summary: I purchased this product new and didn't use it very often. I stopped working in 2 years. I called a repair man only to be told he gets calls about them all of the time and they are usually not worth repairing. I would've given it a zero if I could've.
Summary: Nice looking, since the co2 tank is inside.; holds the largest kegs with room for more storage alongside the keg. It could even get cold enough to make ice cubes if used just as a refrigerator. The only reason it's not a 5-star is that the compressor is noisy when turning off and on, but that's a VERY minor point. I recommend it highly !
Summit SBC490 - Same as Haier HBF05EBSS but $300 more

Summary: Summit SBC490 I decided to replace the Haier HBF05EBSS a beer dispenser that was included in a recent home purchase. Unfortunately, in my haste to defrost the “self- defrosting” unit that was caked with ice, I rupture the coolant line. I decided to not fix the unit and instead upgrade to a better quality unit. After a fair amount of research, it appeared as though the Summit brand was an improvement in quality over the Haier.
Summary: The product has a 1-year warranty for parts and labor, and 5-year for parts only on the sealed system. Its compressor stopped functioning shortly after the first year. Diagnosis by Haier support technicians cost me $98 (just to tell me it was broken). After that, paying for the actual repair is hundreds more. Don't buy this product: it won't last.
Summary: I purchased this product from Walmart 7 months ago. I tried to post this review on their website but was denied. I've tried more that once and stayed within guide lines. Don't ever trust Walmart's Customer reviews they are biased. My Keggerator stopped working 4 1/2 months after I purchased it. It was extremely loud and often heard it running at night. I had many a sleepless night listening to the machine run.
Summary: The product's casters immediately broke - just a small spot weld holding the nut that connects the caster bolt to the bottom of the unit. I had to find alternative casters/wheels for it. You think if you spend $600 you get a better product.
Summary: I bought mine back in 2004 and it is still going strong. The only issue I had was when I (stupidly) tried to chip some ice off the back and popped a hole in the evaporator coil. I had it replaced and the refrigerant recharged and it is still running strong. I preferred this kegerator because the CO2 cylinder is stored inside the kegerator and out of sight.
Summary: I was surprised at all the low ratings for this unit. I've had mine for a little over a year and it has never failed me. The beer stays cold, it's quiet, and it arrived promptly with all parts. My only complaint is that the screws used to attach the rack on top are too small- one good bump and the laminate on the top of the unit cracked a bit when the screw popped out.
