Summary: If I could, I'd give it zero stars as far as temperature control goes. It will go down to 33 degrees F, but if there are any cans stored in the back of the unit they will freeze and burst, But hey, who doesn't like to clean up a mess ! With that said, it will NOT hold 138 cans. It will hold maybe ~ 107. I had to put some foam insulation in the back of each shelf to keep cans away from the cooling panels so they didn't freeze.
Summary: the good news is that I don't have configuration or noise issues like many of you. it looks nice and friends are jealous that we are now fancy people and have a wine cooler. the bad news is a longer list. We learned right away that this isn't a wine cooler, it gets way too cold no matter what. Fortunately even though our friends think we're fancy, we're not. so we keep white wine in it just fine.
Summary: Purchase brand new, realized within 24 hours it doesn't work right. Regardless of where you set the thermostat, the appliance keeps: top shelf 41 degrees, second shelf 38 degrees, third shelf 25 degrees (freezer) bottom shelf almost freezing. Will take a week for a "certified" repair person to come out to try to fix a brand new appliance (there is only 1 in our area and he doesn't make appointments, will just show up and hope someone is home when he gets around to it...
Summary: We purchased this fridge in October of 2011. A few weeks ago it stopped cooling and making a lot of noise. Shortly after that happened we started smelling smoke coming from the fridge. After taking the back panel off, we discovered the compressor had melted. Very disappointed that a $360 fridge didn't last more than a little over a year.
Summary: We bought this at another retailer and brought it home. Despite changing the temperature up and down several times along with moving the cans further away from the back wall, we still had cans constantly exploding. The coils are only on the back wall so the rear of the fridge is much colder than the front. When the cooler went on it would freeze the rear cans and they would explode. We tried everything to keep it but to no avail.
Summary: It looks nice and has good capacity. However, like many other reviewers, I find it to be very noisy. Not the compressor, although it does make a slight buzzing sound, it's the refrigerant circulating that makes a very loud and obnoxious swishing and gurgling sound. I'll be returning this.
Summary: I got this at LOWES due to an error on pricing for about 100 bucks less then the normal price. The compressor is loud on this, however, I don't find it annoying. The fridge definitely keeps things cold. It's a little cumbersome to set the temp but I have yet to have a problem with a warm drink. In fact sometimes the drinks are frozen. Definitely worth it.
Summary: We've been using this beverage center for almost three weeks -- it's built into a wall cabinet in our kitchen, and I must say it looks really nice in a high end kitchen. We chose this one for the price, weren't willing to spend $1000 on another similar product. Overall we are pretty happy with it. I don't notice any noise whatsoever coming from it, but the cabinets (and kids!) may muffle any noise the other reviews complained about.
