Average appliance, but customer service disappointed when needed.

Summary: The fridge is pretty average, but temperature was hard to control and maintain. I had a bad experience with Danby customer service. The glass on the door of this fridge shattered one night. Nothing hit it, so its still a mystery as to why it shattered.
Summary: Not durable, we purchased it for a pantry. We were told by two different shops it would be better to just buy another one as the cost of coming to look at it and repair it were not worth it. I will not be purchasing Danby products again.
Summary: After the nightmare I've been through with my $800 Danby wine cooler, it's refreshing to see that other reviewers had the same experience. The cooler stopped working at 13 months. To make a very long story short, Danby customer service is non-existent.
Summary: I bought this unit a couple of years ago and temperature started going out of whack a few weeks ago. From a maintenance standpoint, it was quite nice. I vacuumed the front and back every few months and it seemed to do the trick in terms of keeping the temperature balanced.

Summary: I purchased this unit and 26 months later is quit working. A part (selenoid valve assembly) stopped working. This is a very expensive and involved repair that makes replacement a better option. I spoke to Danby, they were familiar with the problem, but basically told me too bad.
Summary: Not satisfied with the product, while it did work for 2 years, when it failed, first the LED didn't work, then the motor noise increased and the unit could not be left inside a house. Repair cost was outside the range what we expected.
