Summary: Oh how I wish there were reviews of this when I bought mine. Was great while it worked, but if you're lucky you'll get 3-years out of it. We barely did, but now looking for repair advice I see so many who got way less service out of theirs. The only saving grace is if you get an extended 5 year warranty, otherwise after a year when I guarantee it will break down shortly thereafter, you will be SOL. Avoid like the plague.
Summary: Horrible product. Stopped cooling 20 days after it was delivered. Neither the company I purchased it from, compact appliance, nor Danby would replace it. Instead they sent out a series of repair technicians who wasted my time in the middle of the workday and have not been able to fix it so that it works properly. Unfortunately this is the second one that I purchased.
Summary: This product is total garbage. I am currently looking for a replacement only after 2 years and it never worked right. The temperature has always fluctuated so unless you enjoy warm beer and spoiled wine. DO NOT BUY!!!! I am not even going to try and have it repaired and wish I never bought it. I built my bar around this unit so hopefully I can find another one with the same dimensions.
Summary: Built-in model fit perfectly within our new kitchen remodel. Keeps red wind at our set point of 56 deg F and sodas, juice etc. at 38 deg F in the other compartment consistently. Keeps the main refrigerator can and bottle free. Love the blue light for ambiance lighting. No issues yet in terms of operability but used Discover CC to extend the warranty by one year free of charge just in case.
Excerpt: We purchased this just over 3 years ago and it hardly worked to begin with, but in the past 2 months it has stopped working entirely and doesn't cool below 66 degrees. While searching the web, I see this is a common issue with this product. We will not be purchasing a Danby product again.

Summary: 3 weeks before the warranty expired the temperatures began to fluctuate wildly. Minimum temp is supposed to be 39 although it read 36 degrees often. One minute later it would say 55 degrees. Service man came out and had to call the factory. After that conversation the service person said it is not worth fixing and that It would be replaced with a brand new one. One week later we are still without a cooler.
