Summary: This is really a nice unit. The dual temperature zones and doors is exactly what I was looking for. It looks good, and it's quiet. Beware however, the integrated door locks are not true locks. They are simply integrated hooks that can be turned by any allen wrench, or even a screwdriver. This will not keep the kids out.
Summary: Working on our second unit in four years. The first was replaced under warranty after it started cooling erratically. The current unit stopped cooling on the wine side and won't go below 56 - 60 degrees on the beverage side. Danby refuses to support their product; they are hard to reach and deny any liability.
Summary: We bought this cooler new and have had multiple problems ever since. First of all, the cooler looks cool, with its blue light, but that is the only feature that we like. Although it is still on warranty, we have spent MONTHS attempting to get it repaired. The repairman advised us that this model is made in China and he was unable to fix it because of what he maintained is an engineering issue.
Pros: Only the looks.
Cons: It is VERY problematic and breaks down frequently. Stay Away!
Summary: I've had my Danby beverage cooler since last August. I absolutely love the dual zones for my wine and beer storage. I know there are more expensive brands on the market, but I think mine has a much better appearance. I would recommend this unit to anybody who is looking for inexpensive wine/bev storage.
Summary: This wine/bev cooler is great. I bought one a year ago and have no complaints regarding the performance. It has a very attractive design and the price can't be beat. I get numerous compliments from vistors who frequent my basement bar area. I highly recommend!
Summary: A complete waste of money. One side of cooler cools while the other side's temperature rises well past the set temperature. Although the our neighbor's had the same problem we had, their cooler was repaired under warranty. [...
