Summary: I practice yoga whenever I can and I like the routines on the the wii fit plus when I need something quick. I was very disappointed in this. How are you supposed to do the poses with your head twisted at the screen all the time? The instruction was very poor. They did not walk you through the poses properly or guide you at all, so you felt like you were always missing something.
Summary: Do not waste your time, you're going to end up driving back to the game store to return it!!! This game is AWFUL!! I've been doing yoga for a long time, and was so disappointed! The graphics are ridiculously horrible! And I can't decide if the sound is just as bad, or worse. They don't explain the position at all, or describe how to do it correctly! If your new to yoga, you WILL hurt yourself!
Summary: The game itself is not good at all. There is no instruction while your doing it, they just call out moves. For someone who doesn't know yoga very well, it was not a great thing. Actually found it more dangerous given that I had to keep looking at the screen to see what I was supposed to do next.
Summary: I bought this wii game before any reviews were written, and boy do I wish someone who'd warned me about this. Putting a pretty face (some model I've never even heard of) as the covergirl must have been an attempt at distracting from the awful production. A really important aspect of instructional Yoga is breathing and balance, but this game does not touch on either. In fact, the instruction is not only vague, it is at times wrong!
Summary: I waited anxiously for this game to come out and boy what a waste of time and money it turned out to be. Shame on the creator. I had such huge expectations. The game has several bugs and even froze up on me once. I explored the DVD completely (at Christmas time) and haven't touched it since. Too bad!
Summary: I thought i'd just chime in as well. All the other reviews are absolutely bang on. I got this for my wife, she's a daily (or close) yoga kinda person, and she only looked at one routine because I made her. I had tried it out first to see if it was going to be all I had hoped for her. It was clear very quickly it sucked so badly, she needn't waste her time.
Summary: I was so excited to try this game and it turned out to be such a letdown. The instructions aren't just vague, in some cases they're *wrong.* The instructor on the screen will actually do some of the poses backwards while the voice instructs you to do the pose correctly (I think... it *is* vague)- if you were to watch, listen and try to copy them you could easily hurt yourself.
Summary: I was very disappointed with the Wii Yoga....not the usual Wii standard of game. It was NOT user friendly at all. If you choose the 'story' Yoga, there was no way to fast forward the instructor. The pose portion of the game was also very disappointing-not enough verbal instructions. And the voices of the instructors were very corny- ie Australian, southern drawl! I would not purchase this game again....I will go back to the Wii fit for Yoga...a much better game.
