Game looks amazing!!

  • Summary: Just a very very quick comment, this game looks great and I for one have had it on order for a while, I just wish people on here,eBay etc wouldn't try to capitalise on the lack of stock around in the UK at the moment by trying to sell the game £50+. I really can't wait till the back orders are fulfilled and RPG gamers out there can experience what most of us have been waiting for since the day we bought the Wii.

Best JRPG in a decade

Mr. Thomas M. Gane "newbornfish", amazon.co.uk
1 September 2011
  • Summary: Not only is this the best RPG from Japan (JRPG, or anime styled RPG) on the Wii, it is the best to come out for any console since Final Fantasy X. Combining elements of traditional JRPGs with new successful MMORPG mechanics, this refreshing game is an exciting yet logical step forward for a genre which has been quite stale and uninspired of late.

The greatest RPG of this generation.

BE20, amazon.co.uk
31 August 2011
  • Summary: With the Wii on its final big year, not many big titles have been appearing on the system. That is until now. Xenoblade Chronicles by Monolith Soft comes over from Japan translated into English by Nintendo of Europe. This is hands down the greatest J-RPG to be released in a decade and the best RPG to ever hit the Wii.

Large overworld, enthralling story, great art style.

  • Summary: I picked up this game after reading a couple of the glowing reviews, not having seen any game footage or information prior to release. I was a bit skeptical, I rarely switch on my Wii anymore. Although the opening sequence and general storytelling is fantastic, it took me a couple of hours to really get hooked. I'll put this down to there being a bit of a learning curve at the start, there is a fair chunk of information to take in.

Viva la resolution!

Mr. O. M. Semple "badshins", amazon.co.uk
30 August 2011
  • Summary: First off I want to say i'm a huge fan of the older RPG games like, Dungeons and Dragons on the Mega Drive, Chrono Trigger, FF7 etc. I dabbled in World of Warcraft for a while and have played all the Zelda games but recently most RPG's have left me cold. Recently i played about 30 hours of FF13 and practically threw my control pad against the wall in frustration, where are the likeable characters?? Where's the decent storyline??

  • Summary: This is the best JRPG I have played in a long time. Used to be only Final Fantasy ones that I actually liked, but this one I will definetly play to the end. Shame it's not in HD but it still looks awesome aswell!

The RPG gamers need!

J. Thomas "mandisc", amazon.co.uk
26 August 2011
  • Summary: I am only about 10 hours into the experience but felt it necessary to tell others about this game. Simply put this is a JRPG'S and therefore is a deep gaming experience that will give you as much as you are willing to put in. Over the last 10 hours I have technically only just made it to the second area within the story. But I have been so busy with quests and exploring that I didn't even realise how much time has passed!
