Summary: Xenoblade chronicles is for me one of the best RPGs of this gen. A great story clichéd at some points but with surprising at others, a combat system that doesn't get repetitive and all kinds of secondary quests, makes this game totally appealing for any RPG lover. The only problem that the game has is the graphics, they are poor not enough for this generation but having in mind that this is a WII game this is forgiveable.
Summary: It's early September 2011 and the game is sold out practically everywhere. Nintendo had no idea how well this game would perform and as a result underestimated its demand in Europe. A combination of pleasing critics across the board and fantastic gamer reviews has created a huge surge in sales, which means it will be some weeks, perhaps even months before everyone who wants a copy of this game gets one as Nintendo hurriedly creates more copies, but is it worth the wait?
Summary: I'm about 30 hours into Xenoblade, and it is one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had on my Wii. It's one of those ambitious, sprawling RPGs that were so prevalent on the PS2 but have been scaled back on the HD consoles due to the cost of all the asset creation. There is noticeable attention to detail in every corner of the world.
Summary: This is one of the best RPGs I've played, certainly on par with FFXII, and has just as much replay value. The interface seemed slightly over-complicated at first, but you get used to it very quickly. This has a compelling storyline, excellent levelling up systems (two!), quests galore, and more items than you can shake a stick at. I think the feature I treasure most would be the difficulty: not easy, not too hard, just goldilocks-esque.
Summary: - World without boundaries - huge worlds without invisible walls where what you see, you can go to - Innovative and deep combat system appeals to all - Strong feeling of being on an epic adventure - Great cutscenes
Summary: Just a very very quick comment, this game looks great and I for one have had it on order for a while, I just wish people on here,eBay etc wouldn't try to capitalise on the lack of stock around in the UK at the moment by trying to sell the game £50+. I really can't wait till the back orders are fulfilled and RPG gamers out there can experience what most of us have been waiting for since the day we bought the Wii.
Summary: Not only is this the best RPG from Japan (JRPG, or anime styled RPG) on the Wii, it is the best to come out for any console since Final Fantasy X. Combining elements of traditional JRPGs with new successful MMORPG mechanics, this refreshing game is an exciting yet logical step forward for a genre which has been quite stale and uninspired of late.
