Summary: I don't think people fully understand that this game may have average graphics compared to the xbox and ps3, however for the wii its amazing. The music is wonderful and the story is captivating. I'm sure many RPG fans will enjoy this game.
Summary: ok right on my b-day i went to gamestop and bought this game took it home and played it all day and it was great it reminds me of those old ps2 jrpgs such as dragon quest VIII rogue galaxy and the other level five games this game has potential to be my favorite rpg but i dont know yet because i havnt beatn it yet the fighting is really fun and addicting simple yet entertaining the stories master piece jumping to one place to another.
Summary: Let me start by saying this: If you own a Wii and love JRPGs (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars), then there is NO reason why you should not have this one! Yes, the genre has grown a fair bit stale as of late, while Western RPGs (e.g. Skyrim) have grown more popular.
Summary: I have never traditionally been a JRPG fan, but I know that the U.S. misses out on a lot of Japan's most interesting games, and this one really looked stunning. I pre-ordered a copy and have never looked back! The astonishingly unique setting is more than enough to keep me hooked; it is vast, 100% explorable, and unlike anything I've ever seen.
Summary: This game is beautiful i got it and played it the first day it came out. The storyline is epic, emotional and gets you into playing more. The graphics might not be that good but as real gamers say "graphics does not make a game." It pushes you to the test with all the quests and alot of hours of gameplay. I usually beat alot of games in one day (which is sad) but im surprised in still playing it after 6 days has past.
Summary: I haven't quite finished it yet but I am a ways into the game. It doesn't matter, however. I have to say that this is not only one of the best jrpgs i have played, but one of the best rpgs period I have played ever. Really, it would take me forever to tell you all the reasons I love this game or what is so good about it but I will just say that everything about this game is amazing. For a jrpg its quite revolutionary.
Summary: In general, I don't the Japanese RPG genre. JRPG games tend to lose my interest in about 5 to 10 hours, but this game is one of those rare exceptions that has me craving more. Without spoiling much of the story, this game is about a hero with a special sword that lets him see into the future. Naturally, he needs to save his people from a terrible threat and finds himself at the forefront of an epic war with his loyal companions by his side.
Summary: I haven't quite finished it yet but I am a ways into the game. It doesn't matter, however. I have to say that this is not only one of the best jrpgs i have played, but one of the best rpgs period I have played ever.
Summary: I like games I can beat. I pay the rent, pay for water, gas, and electricity and occasionally buy games for escapism value. I do not play games to be challenged (life is challenging enough), I play games to be rewarded. This is a game for the Wii. Wii games are most often marketed towards the casual gamer (see Mario Party, Carnival games, etc.) I like a story I can relate to. I like games that let you cheat, or do humorous things.
Summary: The "world" it takes place on are the titanic corpses of duelling monsters. That's how the game got my attention and it should get yours too. Come for the premise, stay for the story, gameplay, music, etc. Yes, the graphics are "wii"-rific, but that shouldn't stop you from playing a really, really, good game.
