Summary: I love the worms series but this game was simply unplayable. It was hard to tell which worm was which on my 30" TV. The pan and zoom functions were HORRIBLE; sometimes I would throw something and blow myself up just to reset the camera. I love to blow up my friends, especially with exploding sheep, but the controls were so frustrating that I gave up. I was thinking of buying this game but decided to rent it first just in case; I'm so glad I did!
Summary: Short review from fan of Worms series. Worms are too small .. cannot see worms expressions or weapons details which were part of the fun. Very short list of "weapons". Controls are odd as implemented via Wii controller. Movement of worms is even worse. No online play. Don't bother buying 'A Space Oddity' even if you are new to the series. Wait for something better from Team 17 who should certainly have done something more with this one.
Way over priced. Is at best a 29.99 bargin wii game.

Summary: For anyone who has played worms on the PC, you will not be happy with this game. It's completely lacking of fun and features and is most definitely not a $50 wii game. Endless Ocean for the wii is a better quality game then this and that is only $29.99. If anyone actually wants to buy this game they should wait for the price drop as the quality just isn't worth the price.
Conclusion: Ok this does look pretty good, nice interaction with the Wii-mote but the game is so limited. Poor selection of weaponry ( a fraction compaired with the classics) and single player is too easy.
Conclusion: I was really looking forward to this, having played and enjoyed all the others. For one, lack of weapons....I even found it rather confusing at times. Not the easiest game to play, either.A thumbs down on this one.It was not a patch on worms 3D.
Conclusion: Where to start... Worms has always used a variety of landscapes, of costumes, and of weapons. Previous 2d (and 3d) worms games have let you battle it out amongst players in locations as diverse as the moon, "jungle", the wild west, and space. They've let you be anything from an angryscotsworm to frankworm's monster. They've had almost hundreds of weapons to learn to use.
Excerpt: "****Worms-a space oddity**** I used to love playing this game on the pc against my friends so when a version cam out on the wii i just had to purchase it. What's it about? Well basically the worms are stranded a long way from earth and nothing is going to stand in the way of them getting home. My first thoughts of the game was that the controls were rather annoying to get used to and the game sometimes takes a while to load. You do have ...
