Summary: I'm the only one in the family that likes this game, but that's not a surprise. After all, I bought it for myself. If you enjoy word games, Word Jong Party is entertaining & educational. I'm glad I bought it.
Summary: This game has a great party mode as well as a lasting challenge appeal with the feature of a daily puzzle. This game teaches vocabulary as well as builds family. Great to play as a party starter or solo!
Excerpt: Got this for my early reader son two years ago and he still loves to play. Fun to play as a grown up too. It's essentially Mah Jong where instead of matching up pairs, you have to find free tiles to make words.
Summary: The Wii controllers just don't seem to recognize the game when playing multi-player. Often selects wrong area of screen or doesn't "see" the screen at all. VERY frustrating! I felt this purchase was a waste of money.
Summary: We just got this game on Saturday. It is one addictive game. I have enjoyed this game with my children who are also quite addicted. My biggest complaint about this game is that when you are playing against the game (not a breathing opponent) it comes up with words that I've never heard of. We can't even find these words in the dictionary. Our family rule when it came to word games (like Scrabble) was if it isn't in the dictionary, it ain't a word.
Summary: I really enjoyed word jong for the DS and I wasn't disappointed at all with it on the Wii. It's a lot of fun. At first I was disappointed that the computer wasn't very challenging -- then I tried the daily challenges. All in all its a fun game you can play by yourself or with friends.
