   Winter Sports serves up a lot of gameplay for your $30 dollars. None of the events come quite close enough to holding their own as stand-alone games, yet they succeed as a part of a substantive sports package.    For their homework, I would advise the developers of Winter Sports to make a downhill skiing game with decent graphics, lots of hills to conquer and cool stuff to do while conquering them. As for the Wii owner, I would advise him or her to keep searching, unless looking for the beginnings of a really good skiing game. This title isn’t altogether terrible, but gives you no incentive to make you want to keep playing. Read more

   Unfortunately for Winter Sports, the bad outweighs the good. However, this isn’t to say that some people will be unable to find enjoyment from it. There is plenty of depth to be found in the Career mode, and even if a few of the events feel broken this is certainly better than much of the shovelware the Wii has been getting on a regular basis.
